Job Overview

We are seeking a Cyber Security Mentor - SME to join our team at SKILLOGIC. As a Cyber Security Mentor - SME, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and mentorship to junior cyber security professionals. This is a full-time position based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience in the field of cyber security.

Qualifications and Skills

1 to 3 years of experience in the field of cyber security
Strong knowledge of ethical hacking techniques and methodologies
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification
CompTIA Security+ certification
Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification
Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification
Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification
Excellent mentoring and coaching skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Willingness to continuously learn and upgrade skills

Roles and Responsibilities

Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior cyber security professionals
Assist in the development and delivery of cyber security training programs
Stay updated with the latest cyber security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends
Assess the skill levels and learning needs of mentees
Create and deliver customized learning plans for mentees based on their specific needs
Monitor the progress and performance of mentees and provide constructive feedback
Guide mentees in practical hands-on exercises and real-world scenarios
Assist in the design and implementation of cyber security projects
Collaborate with the cyber security team to develop best practice guidelines and standards
Conduct research and contribute to the development of cyber security knowledge resources
