Overview:

TheCybersecurity Trainee will play a crucial role in supporting theorganizations efforts to safeguard its digital infrastructure andsensitive information. This role is essential for learning thefundamentals of cybersecurity understanding potential threats andimplementing security measures to protect the organizations datafrom unauthorized access. The trainee will work closely with seniorcybersecurity professionals to gain valuable handson experience andcontribute to the overall security posture of theorganization.

KeyResponsibilities:

Participate incybersecurity training programs to learn about network securityinformation security and cyber defense.
Assistin identifying potential security risks and vulnerabilities withinthe organizations systems and networkinfrastructure.
Learn to implement and managesecurity measures such as firewalls encryption and intrusiondetection systems.
Support the development andimplementation of security policies andprocedures.
Participate in security incidentresponse and investigation activities.
Stayupdated with the latest cybersecurity trends threats andtechnologies.
Work closely with thecybersecurity team to address security concerns and improve theorganizations overall security posture.
Conductsecurity assessments and audits under the guidance of seniorcybersecurity professionals.
Learn and utilizesecurity tools and technologies to monitor and protect theorganizations digital assets.
Assist increating and delivering cybersecurity awareness and trainingprograms for employees.

RequiredQualifications:

Bachelors degree inComputer Science Information Technology Cybersecurity or a relatedfield.
Basic understanding of networkingconcepts and protocols.
Strong analytical andproblemsolving skills.
Ability to work well ina team and collaborate effectively withcolleagues.
Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills.
Passion for learningabout cybersecurity and staying updated with industrytrends.
Demonstrated knowledge or experience ininformation security principles.
Willingness toobtain relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA SecurityCEH or similar certifications.
Basicunderstanding of risk management and compliance frameworks such asISO 27001 and NIST.
Familiarity with securitytools and technologies such as antivirus software SIEM andvulnerability assessment tools.
