Vyn (pronounced “win”) is a new-age fintech venture building a world-class platform for international wealth investing. We are backed by a seed capital of $4M and led by two co-founders — Adesh Tyagi, a US-based serial entrepreneur and Rakesh Bhunatar, a fintech entrepreneur — bringing deep global and financial expertise to the table. We are a part of $1B US technology group, a headquartered in Silicon Valley, California.
We are looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our founding leadership team and build Vyn’s entire technology foundation from the ground up. This is a hands-on, 0→1 leadership role for someone who can architect global-grade fintech systems, scale engineering teams, and align technology with business, regulatory, and growth goals.
You will own technology vision, architecture, security, scalability, and execution, while working closely with the founders to shape Vyn’s long-term platform and product roadmap.
This role is based in GIFT City, Ahmedabad — India’s fast-growing international financial hub. We are building for the world from India’s most promising global fintech destination.
Responsibilities:
- Define and own Vyn’s technology vision, architecture, and long-term technical strategy.
- Be hands-on in the early stage, actively coding and building core systems.
- Build, manage, and scale the engineering team to deliver the product end-to-end.
- Architect and deliver secure, scalable, low-latency backend systems and APIs.
- Own cloud infrastructure, DevOps, CI/CD, monitoring, and system reliability.
- Ensure strong security, data protection, and compliance-ready foundations.
- Lead integrations with brokers, custodians, payment rails, KYC/AML, and data partners.
- Establish engineering standards for code quality, testing, documentation, and delivery.
- Work closely with founders, product, and business teams to translate strategy into execution.
- Represent technology in leadership, investor, and partner discussions.
Requirements:
- BE/BTech/MTech in Computer Science or related field (IIT/NITs or equivalent preferred).
- 7–12+ years of experience in backend/platform engineering with strong architectural and leadership ownership.
- Prior experience as a CTO, Head of Engineering, or Tech Lead at a high-growth startup or fintech.
- Deep expertise in modern backend languages and stacks (Go, Node.js, Python, Java, etc.).
- Strong experience with cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and high-scale platforms.
- Proven ability to build and scale engineering teams from early stage to growth.
- Strong understanding of fintech systems, security, compliance, and regulated environments.
- Hands-on mindset with the ability to dive deep into code and architecture when needed.
- Strategic thinker with strong communication and leadership skills.
- Passion for building global fintech products from India for the world.
