Required Technical Skill Set: VitalQIP, DNS/DHCP Support Engineer
Desired Experience Range:4 - 7 Years

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)
Must-Have
- Candidate should have deep knowledge of VitalQIP tool (VitalQIP20, VitalQIP8.0, VitalQIP AMS21, VitalQIP AMS2.1.
- Excellent in AMS(Appliance Management Server), ESM(Enterprise server management) and DNS and DHCP environment.
- Troubleshooting skills for DNS and DHCP Environment in quick time (Nokia QIP700-720-730, S_QIP, Nokia Raid 1200-1230, AMM 5000, ESM5000)
- Good Knowledge of Anycast and subnetting.
- Knowledge of Routing OSPF/BGP, Switching.
- Good Knowledge of tools, Tacacs/Radius/HPOV NNMi
- Knowledge of network sniffer for capturing logs (Wireshark/ Ethereal/ Solar-wind or any other equivalent)
- Excellent Communication skill

- ITIL certification
Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

Network support from Offshore, 24X7 support shift support

Provide support on day-to-day DNS incidents and issues.

Monitor the DNS Infrastructure and work with different tools team for addition/deletion of the devices.

Support day to day changes and configurations in QIP infrastructure.

Manage and maintain the On-site spares availability for DNS infrastructure.

Coordinates with Network Delivery team for ongoing projects and provides support from Operations.

Maintain the DNS/DHCP CMDB up to date.

Support day to day cable patching requests and update the TRAX.
9
Vendor Coordination with NCC group in the event of any faults, software or hardware issues
10
Ensure all related process documents are up to date.
