Role Overview
We are looking for a ServiceNow App Engine Developer with strong hands-on experience in building custom applications on the ServiceNow platform. You will work on enterprise-grade ServiceNow implementations, delivering scalable, high-performance applications that support digital transformation initiatives.
This role is ideal for developers who enjoy owning applications end-to-end, collaborating with business teams, and working on modern ServiceNow capabilities.
What Youâll Do
- Design, develop, and deploy custom applications using ServiceNow App Engine Studio
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Build and configure workflows, forms, UI policies, business rules, and scripts
- Develop REST/SOAP integrations with enterprise and third-party systems
- Ensure applications follow ServiceNow best practices, security, and performance standards
- Perform unit testing, debugging, optimization, and documentation
- Support platform upgrades, patches, and enhancements
- Provide technical guidance to junior developers when required
What Weâre Looking For
- 4â5 years of hands-on ServiceNow application development experience
- Strong expertise in App Engine Studio & custom app development
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting
- Experience with REST/SOAP integrations
- Exposure to ITSM / ITOM / HRSD modules (preferred)
- Familiarity with Agile / DevOps environments
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science / IT or related field
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) â preferred
