Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and configure OpenText Content Server (16.x/20.x/24.x) components, including Categories, Compound Documents, Taxonomies, Security Models, Workflows, Forms, Form Templates, OScript, Web Reports, and Live Reports.
- Develop custom modules to extend OpenText Content Server functionality based on business needs.
- Configure and customize OpenText xECM business workspaces and document templates to streamline document management and business processes.
- Integrate OpenText Content Server with external systems using REST APIs and Web Services.
- Customize and configure Smart UI widgets to improve user experience and align with business requirements.
- Implement frontend solutions using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React JS/Lit JS for dynamic and responsive interfaces.
- Work with XML and XSLT to transform content, support reporting, and integrate with other systems.
- Manage and query relational databases (e.g, Oracle/SQL) to optimize content storage and performance.
- Utilize OpenText GCI Power Tools for document template configuration and lifecycle management.
- Participate in Agile development cycles, contributing to sprints, standups, and creating user stories.
- Mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance and ensuring quality code delivery.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions to ensure system performance and business continuity.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, business analysts, and stakeholders, to gather requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
Technical Skill set :
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with OpenText Content Server 16.x/20.x/24.x development.
- Strong experience with OpenText Content Server components such as Categories, Compound Documents, Taxonomies, Security Models, Workflows, Forms, Form Templates, OScript, Web Reports, and Live Reports.
- Experience in developing custom modules for OpenText Content Server.
- Proficiency in backend development using Java and Spring Boot framework.
- Experience in working with XML and XSL transformations.
- Strong knowledge of web technologies, including HTML, JavaScript, React JS/Lit JS, and CSS.
- Experience with OpenText Content Server REST APIs and Web Services.
- Familiarity with OpenText GCI Power Tools for Document Template management.
- Experience in configuring and customizing xECM business workspaces and document templates.
- Knowledge of relational databases like Oracle/SQL for content management and schema design.
- Good to have knowledge of CK Editor and OpenText Intelligent Viewer
