Primary skills :
- Windows Server 2003 /Server 2008/ Server 2008 R2/Server 2012/Server 2012 R2
- Better Understanding and hands on experience of replica Concept in Hyper-V
- Upgradation from Win2k8 Std R2 to Win2k8 Enterprise R2 through DISM
- Adding Disk to 2008 Cluster Resource and adding storage Disk to Cluster Resource, Renaming mount point on server.
- Uninstall SEP and Install McAfee.
- Complete understanding of Clustering with Failover and load balancing technology.
- Well capable to work with ILO with HP and DELL & Securing resources with Shared folder and NTFS permissions.
- Firmware/BIOS upgrades on DELL servers, Downloading the bundle package from dell repository manager
- Need to understand the PowerShell script in Environment, modifying the existing scripts, Creating the new scripts
- Must have experience in Scripting - Windows Shell / PowerShell Scripting expertise level needed to handle the scripts and automated scheduled tasks.
- Creation and management of directory infrastructure and Active Directory topology and replication management. Active Directory configuration management
- Good experience on BAT and VB Scripting to support legacy and old scripts.
- Identifying opportunities for automation across the Active Directory tasks.
- Automate Active Directory User Account Creation / Provisioning and Account Modification (esp. AD Clean Up)
- Automate Active Directory Computer Account Management and Group Management
- Automate critical Active directory tasks
- Installation /Configuration /Hardening of server OS. Hands on DNS /DHCP /FTP /Antivirus /Patching.
- Hands -on Experience on AD. Presenting Technical Information with the stake holders. Performance Analysis & Reporting Skills of the infrastructure under support
- Maintains SLA on system uptime & performance by setting and enforcing best practices, standards and controls.
- Validating the changes on the Server /Virtualization /Messaging platform by studying plans and requirements. Coordinating the overall approach. Updates Job knowledge and regular mentoring of the team. Training and managing junior staff in your team
Secondary skills :
- Proficient in providing complete backup solutions using MS Backup tool.
- Evaluated and resolved or escalate issues, as appropriate, to higher-level
- Experience in Shavlik and BMC Tools for pushing patches.
- Server Hardening as per Infosec guidelines.
- Worked on Compliance reports and MTSB reports.
